What does "agreed deliverables" actually mean?+

A short, written list of the actual work we will ship in your first 30 days. We agree it on the first call before any invoice goes out. It is specific, dated, and copy-pasteable into Slack or email.

Examples for Local SEO: Google Business Profile fully optimised, 30 NZ citations live, 5 priority service-area pages on your site, 10 Google review requests sent through your tracked link, baseline ranking report, plus a written 90-day roadmap.

If something on that list is not done by day 30, your next invoice does not go out until it is. No ranking promise gymnastics, no "calls came in but they were not the right calls" arguments. The bar is the list.

Does this apply to ad spend?+

Ad spend goes direct to Google or Meta, that's between you and them. The deliverables guarantee covers our management fee, if we miss in 30 days your next invoice doesn't go out until we ship. We set up tracking properly upfront so spend isn't wasted in the first place.

How the guarantee actually works

The 30-day deliverables guarantee exists because most agencies either bury their guarantee in legalese or do not offer one at all. This one is straightforward: if we do not ship the deliverables we agreed to in 30 days, your next invoice does not go out until we have. No refund of the first month, no partial credit games, your billing simply pauses until we have done the work we said we would.

What counts as 'real lead movement'

This is agreed on the strategy call before work starts, not invented after the fact. Depending on your service and goals, lead movement typically means one or more of the following: a measurable increase in calls tracked through Google Business Profile, improvement in ranking positions for the primary keywords agreed upfront, or an increase in verified organic form fills.

The target is set conservatively based on your starting position, your market, and your service area. A brand-new business with no Google presence in a competitive market gets a different 90-day target than an established business with existing rankings that just need to be pushed further.

What the guarantee does not cover

  • Ad spend paid directly to Google or Meta: those funds go to the platforms and cannot be refunded
  • Situations where access to the website, Google account, or Google Business Profile is withheld during the engagement
  • External factors outside of SEO control, such as the business ceasing to trade or pausing operations
