'Seo christchurch' currently shows a keyword difficulty score of 2 out of 100, with around 700 monthly searches. 'Plumber cashmere', 'plumber merivale', and similar suburb level terms sit in the 0 to 10 search volume bracket with keyword difficulty data too thin to even score.
That gap is the entire opportunity for a Christchurch service business. The city term has competition; the suburb terms barely have any. The buyer intent of someone typing 'plumber merivale' is significantly stronger than someone typing 'plumber christchurch' because they have already named the geography of the job.

Pick suburbs where your highest paying customers actually live, not the broadest map. The ones that consistently produce real service business work in Otautahi:

- An internal link from at least one other suburb page on the site
